For King & Country, the duo of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, earn their sixth top 10 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart as A Drummer Boy Christmas flies in at No. 2 (on the list dated Nov. 14).

Released Oct. 30, the set earns 13,000 equivalent album units (12,000 in album sales) in the week ending Nov. 5, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The 13-track effort is the act’s first holiday LP and includes two new original songs: “The Carol of Joseph (I Believe in You)” and “Heavenly Hosts.” NEEDTOBREATHE is featured on “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” and rising country artist Gabby Barrett duets on “Go Tell It on the Mountain.”

The twosome have scored one Top Christian Albums No. 1 among their six top 10s: Burn the Ships bowed in the penthouse in October 2018.

For King & Country’s new chart honor follows their first Billboard Music Awards win (Oct. 14), taking top Christian song for the 2019 hit “God Only Knows.”

LOCKETT’S FIRST LEADER: Keyondra Lockett logs her first Gospel Airplay No. 1 as “Trouble Won’t Last” hops 4-1, up 18% in plays in the tracking week.

“Trouble” is Lockett’s second solo Gospel Airplay entry, after “Try” reached No. 15 in March 2019.

Lockett co-founded gospel group Zie’l, whose “Is My Living in Vain” hit No. 24 on Gospel Airplay in 2006 and “State of Emergency” reached No. 15 in 2015.
