Dustin Lynch, Lee Brice, Big & Rich & More to Salute Lee Greenwood at 40th-Anniversary Tribute Concert

Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch, Riley Green and Big & Rich are among the artists lining up to celebrate Lee Greenwood’s 40 years as a hitmaker at an Oct. 12 concert at Huntsville, Ala.’s Von Braun Center.

Among the other artists saluting the Grammy winner — whose hits include “It Turns Me Inside Out,” “I.O.U.,” “Going, Going, Gone,” “Don’t Underestimate My Love for You” and “God Bless the U.S.A.” — include Michael W. Smith, Jamey Johnson, Alabama’s Randy Owen, The Oak Ridge Boys, Sam Moore and Crystal Gayle.

Greenwood first hit Billboard’s country charts in 1981. He compiled 26 top 20 singles from 1981-91, including seven No. 1s.

This past July, his signature hit, “God Bless the U.S.A.,” topped Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart for the first time, blasting from No. 50 to No. 1 on the July 18-dated ranking.

“With this crazy year we have had to endure, I am really excited to be celebrating in 2021! I have been part of so many of these tribute concert events and they are literally like a family reunion with everyone hanging backstage telling their favorite stories from the road or studio,” Greenwood said in a statement. “I never knew so many of my songs had influenced so many of these great artists that are joining me for this celebration. It’s going to be spectacular, something that Huntsville has never seen before!”
