Evermore is the sister album of her eighth studio album Folklore, which she released in July of this year after only announcing it one day prior (sound familiar?). Folklore not only debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but it surpassed Whitney Houston’s record, among female artists, for the most cumulative weeks at No. 1 with seven weeks (while snagging an eighth week later on).
The Chicks particularly can’t get enough of the murder mystery ballad “no body, no crime,” featuring HAIM, and compared it to their own “Goodbye Earl” from 1999. But Williams can’t pinpoint her favorite. “She’s got so many incredible songs and her career speaks for itself but I am pretty sure ‘evermore’ is the f—in coolest album Taylor’s ever made,” the former Paramore lead singer tweeted.
“This made my heart race/double in size/turn into a confetti cloud of petals, thank you so much,” Swift responded. “You’re incredible. And this was so nice to read.”
Fans exclaimed, “TAYMILA IS ALIVE” when they discovered Camila Cabello liked Swift’s Instagram post announcing that Evermore finally dropped on Friday (Dec. 11). But it’s not that surprising Dionne Warwick, who’s been wishing Swift well on Twitter lately, lives in “a Swift house,” spending the day with her family listening to the new album, just like Reese Witherspoon’s.
