Lady Gaga Sends Cardi B Flowers to Celebrate Her Billboard Woman of the Year Honor

From one Billboard Woman of the Year to another, congrats!

That was the message Lady Gaga sent to her new companion in the exclusive club on Thursday (Dec. 10) when Mother Monster had a giant, colorful bouquet of flowers delivered to Cardi B in honor of the “WAP” rapper’s crowning as 2020’s Woman of the Year.

“B–ch, guess who f–king sent me these f–king flowers,” Cardi said in an Instagram Story clip captured by fans, in which the MC freaks out as she pans down to the card, which reads, “Congrats on Woman of the Year! All my love, Gaga.”

The freakout continued with the words “I can’t seem to cry ever again” splashed across the screen as Cardi took in the grandeur of the arrangement.

Gaga, who took home the honor in 2015, sent the flowers on the same day that Cardi accepted the hardware at Thursday’s Billboard Women in Music event, where Breonna Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer, handed over the award.

“You know, I think everyone this year was just messed up. So I’m just grateful and thankful that the song that I actually did put out this year, which was ‘WAP,’ featuring Megan Thee Stallion, not only was it an amazing song that broke so many records, but it was a conversation that I never thought was going to be so big,” Cardi said in her acceptance speech. “I mean, it pissed off a whole bunch of Republicans for no reason, you know what I’m saying? It was just weird.”
