Chino Y Nacho’s ‘Niña Bonita’ turns 10
Venezuelan duo Chino Y Nacho celebrated a special anniversary of their smash hit “Niña Bonita.” The reggaeton-pop track, which catapulted the duo’s success, turned 10. It peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart (dated May 7, 2010). To celebrate, Chino Y Nacho released a remastered version of their album Mi Niña Bonita, which includes “Niña Bonita.” Stream the album here.
Fobia’s ‘MTV Unplugged’
Mexican rock band Fobia is the latest artist to record an MTV Unplugged. The concert was filmed in Mexico City in October and it aired Dec. 17 on MTV Latinoamérica. “To film this acoustic concert on unusual times will help elevate this iconic band’s vision and boost MTV’s creativity, enhance the intimacy of the MTV Unplugged franchise and above all, just let their timeless music speak for itself,” Marc Zimet, VP of talent and music for ViacomCBS Networks Americas, said in a statement.

The best of 2020
Billboard’s Latin editors released their top 25 Latin albums and songs of 2020. Some of the favorite albums include the record-breaking YHLQMDLG by Bad Bunny, Kany García’s pop duets album Mesa Para Dos and Alejandro Fernández’s prideful regional Mexican Hecho En México. See the albums list here. When it comes to songs, J Balvin’s “Rojo,” Eslabon Armado’s “Con Tus Besos” and Carla Morrison’s “Ansiedad” made the list, which you can find here.
Rosalía’s ‘Vogue’ cover
Photographed by Annie Leibovitz for one of Vogue’s January 2021 cover story, Rosalía graced the fashion magazine for their annual Vogue Value series. The Spanish star talks to Vogue about ambition, her forthcoming album and embracing extremes. “I love things that are really structured or really loose—I’m not really about finding a middle ground. Laura Pausini performing at International Peace Honors
Italian superstar Laura Pausini is set to perform at the annual International Peace Honors next year on Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. ET. Pausini will perform live “Io Si,” the main theme of Netflix’s The Life Ahead, with music by Diane Warren and lyrics by Warren, Pausini and Niccolo Agliardi.
